TRVSDJAM…what does it mean? Behind this curious name we have two famous and talented artists: Travis Barker, former drummer of Aquabats, Blink 182 or Box Car racer and Dj AM aka Adam Michael Goldstein, an american DJ from Philly.
Both guys bound their music skills and some of the results are the Fix Your Face mixtapes. Those one are dope, a very interesting mix between rock, hip hop, electro, pop, soul…We really feel different influences they have in their respective background and milieu.
As I used to listen to Box Car Racer and Blink 182 (I have to admit I was a big fan when I was young 🙂 ), I better know Travis’ style and especially his drummer’s strength that I find again in these mixtapes. It really adds something like rough and rock to each track.
They just released their last tape, Fix your Face Vol.2 – Coachella ’09. The Who, Justice, Mickael Jackson, Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, Warren G, Queen, MGMT etc.. so many fresh remixed and mashed up tunes that could really make your parties harder, better, stronger…
